AIRPORT TRANSFER

We will be happy to arrange an airport or ferry port transfer. Please email us your arrival information to arrange. The cost is USD 50 during the day and USD 60 at night.

We are blessed to be located in the village of Kizimkazi and is best known as the place to see bottlenose dolphins. Chances of seeing migrating groups especially in morning hours are very high. Having a swim with these wonderful mammals is unique! The dolphin tour is USD 25 per person.
 
 
JOZANI FOREST

The Jozani forest reserve protects the last remnant of the indigenous forest which once covered much of central Zanzibar. It is the most important mammal sanctuary on the island. Main attraction in the forest is the Red Colobus – a beautiful coloured monkey found only in Zanzibar. 20min drive, 1-1.5hours tour. It costs USD 30 per person (Entrance and transport).

Enjoy the fishing village of Kizimkazi and experience their way of life. You can stroll true the streets and enjoy the atmosphere but if you are keen on the culture and history then we can arrange with our local guide whom you will fall in love with… His spectacular and pleasant way to show you around will broaden  your perception of the whole place and more than that- people of Kiaimkazi will be proud to admit your support and interest in their community about 3 hours. The tour costs USD 5 per person.

Spice up your day and let us take you to the west  side of Zanzibar for smelling tasting and walking true the famous spice farms. You may be surprised to discover how many of those tasty ingredients which we use daily can entertain not only your tongue but eyes as well.. Spice tours are not only informative but also a lot of fun! 45min drive , 2,5-3 hours tour. It costs USD 35 per person (min 2 people).

It’s a perfect combination to visit the Spice Farm and seal the rest of your day in town as they are nearby. With or without guide and according to your preference – we are flexible and ready to help you create a tailor made  tours . 50 min drive, duration on agreement. Are you into snorkelling, sailing and degustation of seafood on the sandbank? This is then the one that will satisfy your desire. We will take you by fiber boat to enjoy several snorkelling sites, sunbath on a sandbank and then enjoy fruit tasting with amazing seafood barbeque  Departure at 9am return to the hotel 4:00 pm. However Promised Land Lodge's team wishes you to know that for fishermen it’s essential to have access to the sea and freedom to move around, any beach fronts are declared to be a public area and therefore we like you to take notice ahead on so called beach boys and small vendors that try their luck here and there. In case that you like to engage in an activity outside of the hotel we reserve the right to withdraw from any responsibility you may encounter on any outside excursions.
